There are few musicians as gifted as Dan Seals. Few musical performers have ever been skillful or talented enough to achieve success in two different musical genres.
He began his musical career as one-half of the popular '70's duo, England Dan & John Ford Coley. The two became one of pop's most consistent acts, churning out such hits as "I'd Really Love To See You Tonight" and "Nights Are Forever Without You."
However, Dan had barely tapped the depths of his musical talents. When the pair decided to part company, he chose to dedicate himself to making country records. Country music, with its personal and passionate lyrical stance, was the perfect medium for Seals.
His country music roots run deep. His father was a musician and lifetime friend of Ernest Tubb. Chuck Seals, Dan's uncle, wrote Ray Price's 1956 benchmark chart topper, "Crazy
Arms."
Dan's venture into country music only brought him more acclaim. He topped the charts with the heart-breaking "Everything That Glitters" and "You Still Move Me." At the other end of the scale, he was able to shake things up with "Bop" and
"Let The Good Times Roll."
