"Yesterday was a great day. It was New Year's
Eve, my sister-in-law and I went to Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Georgia, just to see Steve
Wariner. We have been a fan of Steve Wariner for about 20 or
more years. I have every song that he has recorded, I appreciate his music so very much. I
truly enjoyed the show. He is the greatest. I'm glad he came to South Georgia. We all just
love him, hope he will be coming back soon."

"I was recently privileged
to see Steve Wariner at the King Center in Melbourne, Florida.
It was by pure accident because my son was chosen to accept the
guitar he and sponsors give out to the schools. I have a varied
taste in music but did not know of Mr. Wariner and his music --
which was fantastic.
I was reading in his
biography and he goes where the music takes him, but if I were to
give him some advice it would to be to span out his horizons to
crossover because he is so good -- especially live. Because of the
concert I went out and bought his latest CD, which I would not have
because of not knowing his music. I'm sure there are others like me
and his talent should be known more. I was so impressed I e-mailed
Capitol records with my thoughts, also Oprah, because of the good
things he does for the schools' music programs and she should have a
show featuring him or the good he does. Well, just thought I would
share my thoughts."

"I just wanted you to know that I was in the
crowd of people that came to hear you play and sing at the "mini-concert" at
Mars Music in the big (little) town of Marietta Georgia!! I was one of a few who are
"just devoted listeners" of your music.
Remember when you were talking about "Two
Teardrops" and how so many people have written to tell you of a special feeling
towards the song? A special significance in their lives? You see, Mr. Wariner,
I lost my mother to cancer the day after Christmas in 1986....and I have always believed
that she was watching over me "from above". Yes, the first time I heard
the song, I had to pull off the road until I could stop crying! It took about 2
months of hearing it (and you know that it gets tons of airplay) before I could get
through it without tears. I have loved that song from the first day and it didn't
surprise me in the least that it was YOU who sang it!
Oh...and there is something else I wanted to tell
you about that day. I was at Mars Music that day at 3:30 in the afternoon (even
though you weren't scheduled 'till 6 pm!!) to be sure of a GOOD seat for your
appearance. During all that time beforehand, and the l-o-n-g line afterword for your
autograph, I talked (yes, I'm a gabby woman) to a LOT of other people in the
lines. Mr. Wariner....we ALL know that you didn't "have"
to stay all that time to sign all those pictures, musical instruments or whatever!!
We all know that you could have limited your time there and sent "several few"
away without the autograph, the smile and the handshake you are so very generous with.
YOU, Mr. Wariner, are a very
unique person!! I won't tell you how many "other artists" I have paid BIG
bucks to see in very posh surroundings, who would not spend the time to be the highlight
of a few people's day or evening. I guess when fame comes, it's easy to
"forget" how hard it is for a minimum wage earner to come up with the kind of
money it takes to go to the really big venues. You are an Angel, sir....for NOT
forgetting."
Sincerely, "Just a fan of your Music"
