Rich Natole (na-toh'-lee) was born in the Bronx to second generation
Italian-Americans, who moved to Northern California when he was three years old. When he
was in high school, his classmates recognized the funny guy in their midst.
He was asked to do everything from star in school shows to announce the football games as Howard Cosell. His 'act' at the time was doing impressions of everyone from his teachers to the celebrities of the time. He had no real jokes, but was voted "Class Clown" in his senior year.
Rich's repertoire soon increased to more than 200 celebrity speaking and
singing voices, many original characters and a talent for acting. While at Canada College,
he took a heavy load of theater classes and starred in many college productions.
Later, he moved to Los Angeles and then hit the road, playing every major comedy club in 42 states within just a few years. He opened for such stars as Jay Leno, Howie Mandel and Richard Lewis before headlining those same clubs himself. Rich has opened for many musical acts including The Four Tops, The Temptations and America. He soon distinguished himself as a favorite with the local radio and television shows for his quick wit, variety of characters and professional attitude and appearance.
Rich has appeared on many television comedy shows, including
"Comedy on the Road," "Young Comedians Special" and "Stand-Up,
Stand-Up." When comedy clubs became increasingly "blue," he found his
clean act more in demand for major revue shows and corporate promoters.
He has performed as the main comedy act in several shows in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and
Valley Forge including "Legends in
Concert," "Superstars" and "That's Entertainment."
His corporate clients include more than 30 Fortune 500 companies and he has performed as a Comedy Headliner for Holland America, Princess, NCL and RCCL Cruise Lines.
Rich started his own company and began producing and starring in custom radio promotion and advertising spots. He created and produced two editions of "Famous Voices for Answering Machines." You may have heard him already and didn't know it!
Rich has hosted everything from local beauty pageants to "Daytime's Sexiest Men in Concert" and several charity events for the American Cancer Society.
